I am a Junior in High School and I am starting to look for scholarships to apply for. Ive been trying to look it up on the web, but its a big confusing mess. So I was wondering if anyone knew of different paces to look for scholarships, or to apply for them!
Fastweb is a great site as she mentioned and your guidance counselor is a must. they should be aware of any that you are elligible for in your area! Plus you might touch base with the college you plan on attending. Kudos for being proactive and working on it now!!! Good Luck~

I’m a junior, also.. and I’m working on scholarships, too. http://www.fastweb.com is a great site for finding them. I think you have to set up an account, but it’s worth it. It notifies you of new scholarships and stuff… it’s great! Try it out!

You should check with your high school guidance counselor. Each counselor should be gettting a monthly list of scholarships, and they vary from the regional to national ones. This information is usually not posted, so you should ask them directly. As you get closer to the end of senor year, not too many seniors apply to scholarships anymore, meaning you usually have a better shot getting the ones in april or may due to less competition. As a junior, i remember there were a few available, but not as much as seniors. Good luck finding scholarships.
