I know in the state of Florida, you need to fill out a FAFSA to apply for student loans, but is that the same for scholarships? Because unfortunately I am in the position where I can not fill out a FAFSA. Has anyone had to go through this before, does anyone one have some helpful information? If you know any good scholarship programs please share! It’s hard to find the right ones.
You full out FAFSA to get Federal Financial Aid, not loans. You can go to www.FastWeb.com for a free scholarship search.

Most if not all scholarships require you to complete a fafsa. What position could you possibly by in where you could qualify for scholarships but not be able to complete the fafsa?

No FAFSA and scholarships are different
FAFSA is government grants, while most scholarships are from different organziations. I used this list that i obtained from this site to apply for scholarships:

You can use scholarship searching sites like the ones that have already been mentioned, but don’t limit your searching just to the internet. Go to the library and borrow a few of the big scholarship listing books. Those books list scholarships by your interests, race, intended college major, hobbies, etc… You can find scholarships in those books that are not even listed online. That means less students will apply for them and you chances of winning are better right from the start. Good luck!
